UsTwo New York
In September 2016 our first international Modual workshop was hosted by UsTwo, one of the world's leading creative digital agencies, at their New York studio on Broadway. Once again we focused on collaboration, social enterprise and digital practise: UsTwo's professionals contributed inspiration and mentorship and the result was a range of powerful and innovative projects for social change that were showcased at our launch event.
Since 2014 we have run a series of workshops at Somerset House as part of their thriving creative community. These workshops explored new ways of teaching professional creative practice in a post-digital world where the internet and its accompanying technological devices are ever present in all of our lives. This workshop operates both online and in the real world to explore contemporary digital practise. We also teamed up with our friends at Makerversity and Facebook among others who helped mentor and offer expert advice to our participants. You can download a report about these workshops here.
The first iteration of Modual workshop was hosted by advertising agency Mother London. Focusing on cross-disciplinary collaboration and idea generation the core theme of the project was positive change. The aim was to equip the students with the tools to bridge the gap between university and the creative industry. The entire process was documented by filmmaker Paul Wyatt for this short documentary film which you can watch by clicking the button below.
